The TT Tester is
a pneumatically-operated instrument for measuring breaking
strength of electrical leads, terminals, connectors, wire
wraps, etc. It is ideal for areas where intrinsic safety is
required. It is capable of either tensile or compression
testing. The rapid test speed makes it perfect for production
line testing, incoming inspection testing or the research &
development laboratory. The tester has a 6-inch (15cm) test
stroke and a hydro-check valve adjustment for controlling ram
speeds as low as 0.1 inch per minute. The instrument meets
MIL-T-7928 (ASG) requirements for crimped, solderless lugs.
The tester also features an automatic retracting steel jaw.
The TT Tester
operates using clean, dry air with a maximum air pressure up
to 160PSIG (11.2 bar).
