AMETEK has a series of temperature sensors which are type approved by
classification societies for marine applications such as measuring exhaust gases
and cooling water in diesel engines and product and room temperature in
refrigeration stores.
These marine type sensors are specially designed with high resistance against
vibration acc. IEC 68-2-6. |

- Connected to the process with a screwed attachment on the thermowell

- 3-wire configuration is standard
- Easy connection and removal with special screw-in thermowell with female
swivel for the sensor, allowing to rotate the cable entry of the sensor in the
desired direction
- Solid construction with high resistance against vibration acc. to IEC 68-2-6
- Type approved by classification societies (see page 2)
- Standard modules and lengths means that few spare parts need to be kept in
stock

- Very fast response time. Achieved by using a silver buttom and special
selected resistance element (RTD)

- Type approved by classification societies (see page 2 in the below

- Quick mounting and adjustment of insertion length by means of a bayonet
coupling adjustable on a spring
