L-A-B receives
Recognition from NACLA
Orchard Lake, MI – December 20, 2004
The National Cooperation for Laboratory
Accreditation (NACLA) has granted Recognition to the
Laboratory Accreditation Bureau’s (L-A-B) accreditation
program.
According to NACLA, the recognition is an attestation that
L-A-B is a competent laboratory accreditation body (AB) that
has demonstrated to a NACLA evaluation team, compliance with
the NACLA procedures and the international standard for a
competent AB (ISO/IEC Guide 58). The Recognition is for a
range of accreditation services: In the Testing area,
mechanical and dimensional measurement; in the Calibration
area, mass, torque, force, hardness and length.
DMML is accredited to ISO:17025-2005 by the Laboratory
Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B). The Laboratory Accreditation
Bureau is one of 4 organizations recognized by Automotive
Industry Action Group (AIAG) to accredit laboratories for
testing/calibration to international standards. Also, on
December 2004, the North American Cooperation for Laboratory
Accreditation (NACLA) announced their recognition of the
Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B).In addition, we
participate in the National Association for Proficiency
Testing Organization (NAPT) to confirm technical competency
for calibration services for various parameters.
