AMETEK/Lloyd Instruments is pleased to announce the all-new Lloyd LS1 Single Column Testing System (1 kN / 225 lbf), a high precision materials testing machine.

The 1 kN (225 lbf) LS1 testing machine has a new mechanical design for high accuracy measurements over a wide range of loads and even over very small extensions or compressions. The exceptional load accuracy of +/-0.5% down to 1% of loadcell value means many users will now only need a single loadcell for their applications. The extended crosshead speed range from 0.01-2032 mm/min provides added versatility.

The system is equally suited to quality control, educational and R&D environments within a wide range of applications and test types, including medical devices, plastics, packaging, textiles, rubber and electronics to name a few.
